Communiqué of the Ministry - Palestine

Algeria strongly condemns the bloody massacre committed by the Zionist occupation army in the camp of Jenin, in the occupied Palestinian territories, leaving dozens dead and injured, and calls on the international community to take urgent action against the perpetrators of this appalling crime and and to put an end to the series of repeated and atrocious aggressions against the Palestinian people.

 While extending its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the brotherly Palestinian leaders and people, following this appalling crime, Algeria reiterates its unfailing support to the just Palestinian cause and its continued solidarity with the courageous Palestinian people, to whom Algeria has always called to provide an international protection by the UN Security Council and to end the international indifference, which has greatly contributed to the continuation by the occupation forces of its crimes and their blatant defiance of all international laws and legislations.

This violent escalation by the Zionist occupation against the defenseless Palestinian civilians confirms the need to urgently pursue efforts to reunite the Palestinian ranks and strengthen the determination to ensure the protection of the Palestinian people and enshrine their right to build their independent State with Al-Quds as capital.
