The minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, under the instructions of the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has had a phone conversation with the chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohamed Younes al-Menfi, in which he ensured him that Algeria was fully ready to support, by all means, the Libyan State following the devastating floods that hit the country.

During the phone conversation, Attaf offered to El-Menfi sincere condolences in the name of Algeria, people and government, following the devastating floods that hit the brotherly country, causing a great number of casualties (dead, injured and missing), adding that Algeria shares with the Libyan people their pain and sorrow.

The minister said Algeria was fully ready to support our brothers in Libya, by all means, to mitigate the impact of the tragedy, stressing to the chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council that the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, follows closely and with great interest the developments of this natural disaster and the tragedies it has caused.

Attaf added that the president of the Republic gave instructions to the relevant Algerian authorities to immediately send urgent aid to the disaster areas.

Mohamed Younes El-Menfi, for his part, expressed &nbsp;his deep thanks and gratitude&lrm; to Algeria for this surge of solidarity, which is not strange from Algeria and its leadership, as it has always supported the Libyan people, at all times and under all circumstances.

The Libyan official underlined the brotherly, cooperation and good neighborly relations between the two countries and the two people.

In a statement to the media yesterday, Monday, the Moroccan minister of Justice had announced that the Kingdom of Morocco had accepted the humanitarian aid proposed by Algeria, and which would be dispatched in coordination with the Moroccan ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On the basis of this declaration, the Algerian ministry of Foreign Affairs informed its Moroccan counterpart, through Algeria&#39;s Consulate General in Casablanca and Morocco&#39;s Consulate General in Algiers, of the measures taken by the Algerian government for the mobilization of three high-capacity aircraft for the transport of the humanitarian aid to Morocco according to the essential needs in the event of natural disasters.

Algeria&#39;s Consul General in Casablanca was in contact with the emergency committee, created at the Moroccan ministry of Foreign Affairs, to formalize Algeria&#39;s proposal for assistance.

While the operation was completed, and at the insistence of Algerian authorities in the afternoon and evening of yesterday, the Moroccan ministry of Foreign Affairs got in touch, before midnight, with Algeria&#39;s Consul General in Casablanca.

The director general of the Moroccan ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the Algerian Consul that after evaluation, the Kingdom of Morocco was not in need of the humanitarian aid proposed by Algeria.

The Algerian government takes note of the official response of Morocco whose obvious consequences are drawn.

The history of our region teaches us abundantly that military intervention has led to more problems than solutions, and that it has been an additional factor in confrontations and divisions rather than a source of stability and security.

Algeria reaffirmed its commitment to the cardinal principles that guide the collective action of African States within the African Union, including the categorical rejection of unconstitutional changes of government.

It called for an end to this unacceptable attack on the constitutional order and this serious violation of the rule of law, and stressed the need to preserve the political and institutional stability of the Republic of Niger, a guarantee of lasting peace and stability in this brotherly and neighboring country, which is facing significant challenges in a region already experiencing multidimensional crises of unprecedented acuteness.

Following the recurrence of incidents of burning and desecration of the Holy Quran in Copenhagen and Stockholm, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad summoned the Ambassador of Denmark and the Charg&eacute; d&#39;Affaires at the Swedish Embassy in Algeria on Monday, in order to inform them of Algeria&#39;s official protest and its firm condemnation of these immoral and uncivil acts, which target everything that is sacred to Muslims everywhere in the world.

The diplomats were also informed that such &ldquo;appalling and abject do not in any way fall within the scope of freedom of expression, as those who defend, advocate and profit from them falsely claim.

In this regard, the Ministry stressed that it is inadmissible to see the freedom of expression used as a cover to protect the perpetrators of these heinous crimes.

On this occasion, the Ministry reaffirmed Algeria&#39;s request to the authorities of both countries to take all necessary measures to prevent the recurrence of such acts, which are abhorred by all monotheistic religions, international laws and customs.

These reprehensible acts, contrary to the values of tolerance and coexistence, are likely to rekindle hatred and feed Islamophobia.
