Mr. Attaf receives a congratulatory message from his Egyptian counterpart

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Attaf received a phone call from his brother, the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Sameh Choukri who congratulated him on his appointment by the President of the Republic at the head of the Algerian diplomacy, wishing him success in the fulfillment of his duties.

On this occasion, Mr. Attaf and Choukri reviewed the relations of brotherhood and cooperation between the two countries as well as ways and means to promote them to broader perspectives and proceeded to an exchange of views on issues of common interest at both regional and international levels, including those related to the Arab region and its central issue, the Palestinian cause.

The two heads of diplomacy agreed to continue efforts to boost the mechanisms of bilateral cooperation, to consolidate the consultation and coordination between the two countries on all levels in order to meet the aspirations of their two brotherly peoples and in the best of their common interests.
