Mr Chaib participated in the opening ceremony of the third edition of the international workshop on renewable energy and green hydrogen.

The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the national community abroad, Mr. Sofiane Chaib, participated today in the opening ceremony of the third edition of the international workshop on renewable energies and green hydrogen, organized over two days by the Algerian Club of Excellence and High-Level Skills, in the presence of a group of national experts abroad from different regions of the world, including actors active in the field of renewable energies.

At the beginning of his speech, the Secretary of State emphasized the particular attention paid by the Algerian State to national skills from our diaspora, through strategic policies and programs aimed at strengthening their ties with the motherland and stimulating their contribution to development efforts, particularly in the field of supporting the energy transition dynamic and achieving sustainable development.

In this context, the Secretary of State praised the ongoing commitment of national experts abroad to their homeland, through the use of their scientific and technical expertise, emphasizing the Ministry's top priority of supporting this growing movement and taking the utmost care to strengthen the developmental role of this category of our fellow citizens abroad.
