Mr.Chaib meets with heads of consular centres

The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib, held a coordination and guidance meeting via videoconference with the heads of consular posts in Europe and America.

This meeting, which is part of continuing periodic meetings with the heads of consular posts abroad, was devoted to evaluating progress in ongoing preparations to facilitate the return home of the diaspora on the occasion of the summer season under optimal conditions.

The meeting provided an opportunity to note the positive impact of measures adopted by the high authorities of the country for the benefit of our fellow citizens residing abroad, particularly those aimed at streamlining entry procedures to the national territory.

It also served to evaluate the efforts of our consular network in implementing the ministry’s action plan for modernizing and digitalizing consular services, with a view to providing streamlined services tailored to the needs of our community abroad while ensuring high-quality administrative services.

In this regard, instructions and directives were given to continuously improve the quality of consular services while maintaining constant communication with our nationals and strengthening their attachment to the motherland.
