Mr.Attaf receives his Egyptian counterpart.
Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received on Thursday, at the ministry’s headquarters, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Badr Abdel-Atty, on an official visit to Algeria.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the various aspects and dimensions of the fraternal and cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries, and to explore avenues to strengthen these ties in preparation for upcoming events, particularly those related to the Algerian-Egyptian Joint High Commission.
The two ministers also addressed various current regional issues, particularly the existential threats facing the Palestinian cause, as well as developments in brotherly State Libya, along with the crises affecting numerous Arab countries.
In this respect, both ministers emphasized the necessity of reinforcing consultation and coordination traditions between the two brotherly nations across their shared Arab and African spheres.
