Mr Chaib participates in a meeting organised by the Consulate General of Algeria in Lyon on the reality and prospects of investment in Algeria, with the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Microenterprises
The meeting discussed Algeria’s investment landscape and future prospects;The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib, and the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-enterprises, Noureddine Ouadah, participated via videoconference in a meeting organized by the Algerian Consulate General in Lyon. The meeting discussed Algeria’s investment landscape and future prospects, featuring success stories, lessons learned.
The event was attended by several entrepreneurs, project leaders and economic operators from the Algerian community in this consular district, as well as a representative from the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI).
On this occasion, the Secretary of State highlighted the strong political will of the country’s high authorities to set up favorable conditions to encourage and motivate members of the Algerian diaspora—including business operators, entrepreneurs and project leaders—to take advantage of investment opportunities in various promising sectors, especially entrepreneurship.
He also underscored the benefits of the local ecosystem, which offers support through specialized organizations such as the Algerian Start-up Fund (ASF), the public start-up accelerator Algeria Venture (AV), and the National Agency for Self-Entrepreneurs (ANAE).
For his part, Ouadah stressed the importance his sector places on enhancing the role of the diaspora community in developing Algeria’s entrepreneurship sector.
He urged project leaders participating in this meeting to capitalize on the investment opportunities in our country by using the various support mechanisms his sector has rolled out.
Ouadah further affirmed that members of the national community can benefit from all financial and tax incentives guaranteed by the State in this field.
