Mr. Attaf receives Iranian head of National Security, Foreign Policy Committee

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received Monday, the Head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Islamic Shura Council, Ibrahim Azizi.

The meeting discussed the state of the fraternal and cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries and examined ways to activate parliamentary diplomacy mechanisms so as to promote and elevate it to the highest ranks.

The two parties also discussed several international and regional issues of common interest, notably the latest developments in the Near East with the ongoing genocidal war against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the escalation of multi-form Israeli aggression throughout the region.
