Mr. Attaf receives a phone call from his Sudanese counterpart

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, received today a phone call from his brother, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sudan, brotherly country, Ali Al-Sadiq Ali, mainly focused on the review of ways to strengthen bilateral relations and consultation on the developments of issues of common interest at regional level.

Minister Ali Al-Sadiq Ali took the opportunity to congratulate Minister Ahmed Attaf for his appointment as head of the Algerian diplomacy.

During their meeting, the two ministers expressed their satisfaction with the historical relations of brotherhood, cooperation and solidarity between the two brotherly countries, stressing their aspiration to explore together the promising prospects of bilateral cooperation in the economic fields in the best interests of both parties.

Mr. Attaf reaffirmed the permanent solidarity of Algeria with Sudan, a brotherly country, in favor of its security, stability and recovery of its rightful place in the continental organization.

Regarding political coordination, the heads of diplomacy of the two countries exchanged views on a number of Arab and regional issues of common interest, reaffirming the importance of reforming and strengthening joint Arab action for the preservation of Arab national security in all its dimensions.
