Mr. Attaf receives a congratulatory message from his Turkish counterpart

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, received today a phone call from his brother, the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mevlut Cavusoglu who congratulated him on his appointment as head of the Algerian diplomacy, wishing him success in his missions.

The two parties discussed during this call, developments relating to efforts to overcome the consequences of the destructive earthquake that struck various regions of southern Turkey in early February. The Turkish minister has, by the same occasion, reiterated his gratitude to Algeria, leadership, government and people, for the great momentum of solidarity with his country following this disaster.

The two ministers also reviewed the Algerian-Turkish relations based on friendship, cooperation and solidarity, welcoming the momentum they are experiencing, under the continued interest and direct monitoring of the presidents of the two brotherly countries, driven by a common desire to establish a comprehensive economic partnership while strengthening political coordination on all issues of common interest.
