Mr. Attaf received the British Under-Secretary of State for the Middle East and North Africa

Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr.Ahmed Attaf, received on Tuesday, at the ministry headquarters, British Deputy Secretary of State for the Middle East and North Africa, Mr.Hamish Falconer, following the discussions he held with the Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of African Affairs, Selma Bakhta Mansouri.

During the meeting, the British Deputy Secretary of State delivered a letter to the Minister Ahmed Attaf on behalf of his British counterpart, Mrs.Yvette Cooper.

The meeting enabled the two sides to discuss various aspects of the Algerian-British relations and prospects to elevate them to higher levels, focusing on strengthening strategic dialogue and deepening the economic partnership between the two countries.

The two sides also addressed a number of issues on the National Security Council's agenda.
