Mr. Attaf holds talks with UN High Commissioner for Refugees

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held bilateral talks on Friday in Antalya, Türkiye, with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Barham Salih, on the sidelines of the 5th edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, 

During the meeting, Minister Attaf renewed his congratulations to Barham Salih on assuming his duties at the head of the UNHCR at the start of the current year, affirming Algeria’s support for him in his noble mission.

The two sides reviewed "the various aspects of cooperation between Algeria and UNHCR, notably programmes devoted to Sahrawi refugees," 

They also discussed "the mounting challenges affecting the High Commissioner’s capacity to address refugee issues across the world,"
