Mr. Attaf holds bilateral meetings with Djibouti’s Foreign Minister

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held a bilateral meeting on Sunday, in Oran, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Djibouti, Mahmoud Ali Youssouf.

During this meeting, held on the sidelines of the 11th High-Level Seminar on Peace and Security in Africa (1-2 December) in Oran, Ahmed Attaf and his Djiboutian counterpart, who is chairing the Oran Process this year due to Djibouti’s rotating presidency of the African Union’s Peace and Security Council, discussed the seminar’s agenda.

The two parties also hailed the importance of Oran Process, which allowed to strengthen bilateral coordination in the face of the growing challenges confronting African countries, and explored ways to build on the recent achievements of the African continent, such as joining the G20 and the positive momentum regarding African demands for the reform of the Security Council.
