Mr. Attaf holds talks in Jeddah with Libyan Foreign Ministry Administrator

Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, held talks on Tuesday in Jeddah, on the sidelines of his participation in the Extraordinary Meeting of the Council of Foreign Affairs Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), with the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Libyan Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour.

On this occasion, the two parties discussed the work of this extraordinary session, devoted to developments in the ongoing genocide against the brotherly Palestinian people and to examining ways of enabling the OIC to step up its efforts to halt the Israeli aggression.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to examine relations of cooperation and fraternity between Algeria and Libya and the prospects for strengthening them ahead of forthcoming bilateral events, in particular through the implementation of projects aimed at strengthening communication between our brotherly peoples and countries.

Moreover, the two parties exchanged views on the situation in the region and developments in Libya, highlighting in this regard the need to strengthen bilateral coordination at regional and continental levels.
