Mr.Attaf holds a bilateral meeting with his Iranian counterpart

The minister of State, minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held Sunday in Istanbul, Turkey, a bilateral meeting with the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Abbas Araghchi, on the sidelines of the 51st session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC).

The meeting focused on the developments of the ongoing aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and its impact on peace and security in the Middle East.

Attaf reiterated Algeria's position and its commitment, as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, to the adoption of a political and peaceful approach based on the provisions and rules of the international law and the UN Charter, to spare the region any further tension and tragedy.
