Mr.Attaf holds a bilateral meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart

The minister of State, minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held Sunday in Istanbul, Turkey, a bilateral meeting with the Azerbaijani Foreign minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, on the sidelines of the 51st session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC).

The meeting provided an opportunity to review the current situation in the regional neighbourhood of the Republic of Azerbaijan, against a backdrop of continued aggression against Iran," and "discussed the joint efforts to give a fresh impetus to Algerian-Azerbaijani relations, ahead of upcoming bilateral meetings, mainly for the creation of an institutional mechanism for the development of economic cooperation between the two countries.
