Mr Chaib receives the President of the Algeria-Iran Friendship Parliamentary Group of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly

The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib, received on Wednesday, the president of the Iran-Algeria Parliamentary Friendship Group at the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Hassan Ghashghavi, who is paying a working visit to Algeria, at the invitation of his counterpart, the president of the Algeria-Iran Parliamentary Friendship Group at the People’s National Assembly (Lower House of Parliament).

This meeting allowed to review the state of fraternal and cooperation relations between the two countries, and ways to strengthen them, particularly in the field of parliamentary diplomacy, adding that the two parties congratulated themselves on the positive dynamics marking bilateral relations, in implementation of the common will of the leaders of the two countries.

This meeting was an opportunity to exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest, at their head the Palestinian cause.
