Mr. Attaf receives the senior advisor to the President of the United States for Africa, Arab affairs and the Middle East, Mr. Massad Boulos

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs,  Mr. Ahmed Attaf, received on Tuesday at the ministry's headquarters, the Senior Advisor to the US President for Arab and African Affairs, Mr. Massad Boulos, who is on an official visit to Algeria.

On this occasion, the Minister of State held a private meeting with Mr. Massad Boulos, followed by an expanded session including members of both the Algerian and American delegations.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review various aspects of Algeria-US relations and discuss ways to strengthen them and raise them to the highest possible levels.

In this regard, the two parties noted the importance of fostering the strategic dialogue between Algeria and the United States and reaffirmed the need to boost the positive momentum characterizing the bilateral partnership, particularly in the economic field.

The two sides also exchanged views on the main current issues in the Arab world and the African continent, particularly developments in Libya, the Sahel, and Western Sahara.
